In this painting, I aimed to create a unique portrait where the power of colors and shapes would dominate. A large blue hat crowns the figure's head, perhaps symbolizing a sense of strength or originality. The striking red accents on the face are meant to capture attention and invite closer exploration of the personality behind the portrait - perhaps my own reflection. The silhouette with subtle blue contours adds an aura of mystery and depth. One could say that the painting is an expression of my creative journey and my passion for exploring the wilder boundaries within the realm of painting.
My passion for art is deep and authentic. Even though I have passed the seventy-year mark and am officially retired, my heart and creativity remain youthful. Let me share some of my story with you.Originally from the city of Narvik in Norway.
My art spans from digital abstract paintings, landscape images, figurative pictures, to pop art. By embracing modern technology, especially through the use of iPad and Procreate software, I have liberated myself from traditional constraints. The digital world gives me the freedom to paint anytime, anywhere. Each picture I create carries a part of my history and experience. I have sold my works to a diverse group of people, both nationally and internationally.
