J'ai été professionnellement fonctionnaire territorial. L'art m'a aidé à m'évader, mais aussi à me réaliser. Il m'a permis de voir les animaux, la nature et les hommes. J'y cherche la beauté anatomique, la poésie et plus particulièrement pour les hommes une certaine vérité ... que j'interprète.
Depuis mon enfance les cailloux, les pierres m'ont attiré. C'est donc par hasard, mais tout naturellement que je suis venu à la sculpture. Cela m'a obligé à passer par le dessin, une certaine culture des arts plastiques mais aussi le dessin, la géologie, la géographie et le modelage, le verre .... mais aujourd'hui seules les pierres qui se polissent bien comme le marbre m'intéressent. En particulier celui de Carrare.
J'ai tenté de m'inclure dans le monde des artistes professionnels, mais je n'y ai pas réussi. C'est un horizon qui s'est bouché pour moi, parti trop tardivement et la crise du Covid a balayé mes espoirs. J'ai attendu un peu plus d'un an et une crise économique depuis lors étendu quasiment au monde suivi d'un élargissement des conflits larvés au niveau mondial s'est développé avec au départ la guerre entre la Russie et l'Ukraine. J'ai compris que je devais stopper non pas de sculpter, ce que je ferai un peu encore, mais croire que je pouvais me hisser jusqu'à une reconnaissance en restant professionnel. Je stoppe donc au 31/12-/2023.
