Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

Linografia ó linograbado a un solo color (negro), realizada sobre plancha de linoleo y estampada por el autor en su taller, en papel Guarro Super Alfa de 250 gm. en color crema. Se trata de una serie de linoleos realizados de forma simultane y continuada en la que intento expresar a través de éste medio de reproducción e impresión de obra mútiple, todo aquello que de una manera u otra me conmueve, (la figura, el desnudo, el retrato, el mundo espiritual, la mitologia, los duendes y los faunos...etc), és de destacar en todos ellos el esquema compositivo, el contraste dramático entre blanco/negro y la temática. La edición se compone de una tirada de 100 emplares comenzando por el 1/100 y terminando con el 100/100, además de 10 P/A (pruebas de artísta) que no están a la venta H/C (fuera de comercio) También puedes visitar mi página web:

Spain

Diego Segura Carmona, pintor, grabador, dibujante e ilustrador, nace en Almería. Inicia su formación académica y artística siendo aún un niño bajo la tutela de Dª Ana Cruz y Dª Mª Jesús Gorostiza.
Comienza su andadura por el grabado de la mano del gran maestro DºJosé Garcia de Lomas.

Amplia estudios de grabado y litografia en importantes centros de gráfica de España, Italia, Francia y Alemania, con maestros de la talla de Walter Dhomenn y Manuel Manzorro.

Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Sevilla en las especialidades de Grabado y Diseño Gráfico. Actualmente imparte, como Proefesor Titular, clases de Dibujo, Grabado e Ilustración en la Escuela de Arte "San Telmo" de Málaga. Compagina la docencia con su labor creativa personal, mostrando asiduamente su obra en distintas salas de exposiciones dentro y fuera de España.

Sus trabajos y proyectos artísticos han sido reconocidos con diversos premios y galardones, habiendo estado becado con diversas Bolsas de Arte para el estudio y ampliación de conocimientos artísticos por diversos paises de Europa, como Alemania, Francia,Italia, Bélgica, Holanda , Luxemburgo.

Su espíritu incansable de investigador y viajero y sus ánsias por ampliar sus conocimientos artísticos y humanos, le ha llevado al estudio de otros Proyectos de Investigación en otros paises de Europa y América y a ciudades como, Rumania, Bucarest, Budapest, Viena, Paises Escandinavos, Dinamarca, Suiza, Oslo, Copenaguhe, Brasil, Sao Paulo y Rio dejaneiro, o Cuba, La Habana.

Ha impartido clases y talleres de grabado a lo largo de toda su trayectoria profesional a alumnos y artístas de muy diversa condición y edad. Ha intervenido como jurado en diversos premios y concursos de artes plàsticas en varias centros y ciudades españolas.

Ha realizado coferencias y colaboraciones en Jornadas de Arte organizadas por e C.E.P y la Junta de Andalucia, en centros de la provincia de Almería y Granada.

Sus obras artísticas se encuentran en diversas entidades públicas y privadas en España y otros paises.

Su quehacer artístico, avarca algunos campos del Diseño Gráfico, la Ilustración y el Diseño de Vestuario y Figurines, realizando múltiples colaboraciones en periódicos y revistas, igualmente su trabajo como ilustrador está plasmado en diversos libros y publicaciones en los que ha realizado tanto ilustraciones interiores como portadas de libros.

Entre sus colaboraciones en ilustración cabe destacar los libros para el cantautor Joaquin Sabina, "Subjetivo y Arbitrario", el escrtor Fernando Quiñones con su obra "La bonita historia de la Legionaria, la Conchi Galán y el chulo Málaga" o el escritor italiano Giovanni Garomallo con su obra surrealista e intimista "Más despacio de lo que corre ligero una tortuga"

Otros campos en los que ha intervenido són el teatro infantil y el teatro de adultos, diseñando, carteles , decorados y figurines, así como diseño y creación de marionetas para compañias de teatro infantil.
