This piece was created by welding over a thousand small steel rods together and inlaid with back plates. It stands 35 inches tall x 22 inches wide (at the widest point ) x 11 inches deep and is mounted on a plate thats 11 x 18 inches. It weighs 27.8 pounds.
To me the artist :
this piece has kind of an odd meaning. I am narcoleptic and has extremely vivid reams that are almost like a second world that changes every night. I dream about many humanoid type creatures and some are very reoccurring while some only make 1 appearance . This particular “ slumberling “ as I call them is one who I see a decent amount. He is not my pal though. For as much as I dream about other worlds my dreams are ALWAYS kept at a PG-13 rating. If a dream starts to become steamy “The Keeper Of C “ shows up, and shows me the door back to the real word and wakes me up. As you can guess thats somewhat disappointing. He is the gate keeper to a part of my mind I am not allowed to access while asleep.
