I grew up between two oceans in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. When I think of a new painting, my motive is often clear. I feel calmness and gratitude, when I am able to paint the ocean. I love the deep water, never known whats underneath, feeling the wind, seeing the light blue sky and smelling salt in the air. I can be in the moment and letting the force rise inside of me. I love to paint the ocean from above, I wish I could fly in real life. I hope that you feel relaxed and can take a deep breath, when you look at my painting.

I am a full-time, worldwide selling artist from Hamburg, Germany. I love everything that involves water, water lilies, nature and light. My passion for capturing moments from nature on canvas forever for the viewer drives me. For me, painting is like opening a secret door to my very own world. I was born and grew up between the seas in 1970 in Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstein . I have been living and working in Hamburg with my family since 1996. I work with acrylic paint on canvas using brushes, palette knives and fingers. For as long as I can remember, I have provided family and friends with my works. Over the years I have been trained by various artists in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. I have exhibited my paintings in many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions. I sell my paintings worldwide in various art galleries and directly to collectors and customers.
I also accept commissioned work. I would be happy to inform you about the exact process.
