This painting is from my series Memento Mori Animalis that revisits the artistic theme of vanities adding some of the smallest and most colourful animals on the planet.

His poetic yet provocative visions of the world are displayed in a dreamlike universe where he combines psychedelic constructions and the use of symbolism and humor to create several layers of interpretation to his works.
Sailev promotes eco-art and socially engaged art through several groups and platforms. He is member of the international non-profit Artists For Conservation (AFC) that gathers artists from more than 30 countries who are committed to conservation. Sailev also contributes to the Millennium Alliance for Humanity and the Biosphere MAHB of Stanford University, the New-York based Eco Art Project, and the American artist collective For Mother Nature. Each artwork is linked to a specific NGO and sales include a donation.
Sailev was born in 1982 in France. He exhibited his works all across the world and won numerous awards.
