Sabine Dumont de Lalande

who was born in Germany and has been living in France for 30 years. She divides her time between practising holistic medicine and painting. A former classical ballet dancer she abandoned her career due to an accident while exercising and resumed training at the Beaux Arts in Paris. 

She paints in watercolour, pastel, acrylic, oils and mixed media in a variety of subjects - with a particular passion for wildlife, animals (horses, cats and dogs), and sailing with an aim to convey the movement of life and the beauty and wondrousness of nature as well as mirroring the animal's soul.

She is member of the Fondation Taylor and has exhibited in venues in France and abroad. She lives near Montfort l'Amaury with her husband and their chow-chows.
