A gift from Santa Claus – São João da Madeira – Portugal 2007

My friend J. Miguel, the first think I did here, right after recoveing my breath when you gave me this so great information, was to put in the sound of my computer the “Namorico da Rita” music, one recordingo with the interpretation of Amalia Rodrigues. I stood up and began some steps of the dancing. My colegues in work soon became hapilly surprised and laught a lot. We hug each other and did a great party! At least, this last weekend,, your e-mail came like the thirth good new for my artistic life. The first was about one award of creativity prominence that one of my pictures won in Havana, Cuba. The second came whith the Golden Medal – 1º place Naif, in Salão de Carnaval da Sociedade Fluminense de Belas Artes, at Niteroi/ Rio de Janeiro. Finaly, you good new, being selected at....Portugal!!!!! Right today I will prepare my” lugagges”, that is, to give course to the process of temporary exportation with the Brasilian Customs to be aloued for mi to send my picture by Mail in Post Office. in elapsing of the next days, after receiving the letter, I will dedicate myself to the final planing of my “lugagges”!
