Painting without goal-oriented expectation mobilizes intuition. It reflects the inside to the outside. "The Blink of Truth" (Rousseau) creates images in the energy flow of colors and forms of their own dynamic, beyond space and time. A dialogue between work and creator.
Already in my childhood I started experimenting with artistic techniques; Fabric painting, watercolours, ink. Studies in Berlin. Later, as part of an IHK training, he was intensively involved with new media, photography and digital image processing. Since then continuous studies of painting, also with different artists. Most recently lessons with the Düsseldorf artist Beate Jorek. Studies in France, Italy, Spain and India. The self-study of Gerhard Richter's works led me to the development of a multi-layer technique, which is used particularly in the design of my backgrounds. My abstract pictures are an expression of my confrontation with modern life - both positively and negatively. References to the critical issues of today are always examined more closely. Art is perception, emotion and therefore always political.Guided by intuition and impressions, these become the background on the canvas using mixed techniques. Improvisation is access to personal information. Figurative elements stand in contrast to this. They almost always question the complexity and inaccuracy of the environment. And with it himself; origin, being and becoming. This creates a dynamic of its own that is intended to encourage people to discover personal elements and thoughts. The aim is to create a work that absorbs the viewer and perhaps leads him to a dialogue.
From the self-understanding that an individual only has real access to his information view without being able to decode it himself, it is almost impossible to speak for another person. I am a man, consequently a central theme for me is the man as the protagonist of modern life. Pain, desire, love, mortality and the mystery of being a man.
