My Egg Shell work Style

Beauty and art go together. The form of art is essentially an intimation of reality. Man gets pleasure in intimation. It is absent in animals Yet, The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. A work of art should aim at form and unity.

A work of art is successful of the group to which the represented object belongs.

With this concept of art, I, Richard try to bring life out of a lifeless things i.e. eggshell painting is not my hobby, through it was in my formative years, it is my life now. I see life through every painting. Even a small curve of a line is meaningful to me. I drink, I taste, I digest : painting. I get delight in paintings, I immerse my defeats in painting; I brush my feeling with painting. I sing, I dream and I live with painting. Now, how I make it: I strongly believe that even a small thing, seemingly un useful, can be used as a powerful medium of expression. An artist can do it.

Not a scientist. Has sit Shelley sury, A thing of Beauty is Joy for ever?’’. ‘ All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small’.

Take an egg shell for an example. It is easily breakable, like human life. When it is in fragments, it appears as the spread of dotted carpet is a small size.

I use the egg shell, break it into small fragments and then stick them on a canvas. Glued to the canvas, the egg shell spread , looks like a neat immaculate white body of a duck. It even looks like a fine white mosaic. As the eggshell spread is in ups and downs, it also gives an impression that life pitfalls and stepping stones Zen philosophies the same about life .thus brining out life’s uncertainties in my work .I present as it is

Now my imagination starts coming in a carnival of colors images with different ropes, moods and expressions emerge on the firmly glued eggshell fragments on the canvas

A fragmented egg shell can be as melancholies as a broken heart Both give pleasure out of turmoil
