Ricard J. Tovar (Castellón de la Plana, 1964) is a contemporary Spanish artist whose passion for drawing and painting began in childhood and has remained a lifelong pursuit. A self-taught painter, he refined his skills by observing others and draws inspiration from a broad spectrum of artistic traditions. He admires the Impressionists, including Renoir, Van Gogh, and Cézanne, as well as the masters Goya and Velázquez and Italian luminaries like Leonardo and Raphael.
