"The theme of contemplation and a meditative mood in the interaction with the medium is critically interwoven in the collective iconography of these artworks: I belong to a generation where the additive and process oriented nature is esential to how we perceive and create. I choose the golden proportion (1=1.618) as a congruent format that is manifestly inherent of infinity in order to divest a dialogue between the fluidity of the medium and its geometry. In this context, I delineate a triangulation of the plane that consists of a right angle tangential to the pictorial plane, hence reasserting its thing-hood and equivalence to infinity, and hence, the paradox of the fictitious flatness of the plane of the canvas against the illusive spatial depth of forms expressed on it."
