В скульптуре запечатлён вечный мотив бойца перед боем - завязывание бинтов на руках. Прекрасное по своей пластике и сосредоточенности движение, предшествующее жестокой в своей красоте схватке совершенных и грациозных героев.
В момент завязывания бинтов, боец доводит свою концентрацию до предела, продумывает тактику боя, ведь во время боя у него есть всего несколько мгновений, которые решат исход всего.
