Abitur 1968, Facharbeiter Betonbau.
Studium am Moskauer Staatlichen Architekturinstitut von 1968 bis 1974, Fakultät Wohn-und Gesellschaftsbau, welches vergleichbare Ausbildung bot wie das Weimarer Bauhaus, also hochwertige künstlerische Lehre in den künstlerischen Disziplinen Malerei, Zeichnen, Plastik/Skulptur und Entwurfslehre.
Lebt und arbeitet in Berlin und betreibt ein eigenes Atelier. Er arbeitet in den Disziplinen Malerei, Grafik und Plastik.
Experimente mit den verschiedensten Materialien und Techniken sind sein markantes Arbeitsmerkmal.
