Obstacles 1 (2022) Painting by Regina Dem

Regina Dem born in Salzburg, Austria and based in South Germany took inspirations from different African countries. Tradition and Modernity of arts are created there everywhere on a daily basis. 

Her works show sometimes a mixture of both aspects painted with acrylic or oil colors. No work should be the same, that would be boring. She isn't fixed on certain motives but on the richness and creativity the Universe has to offer. 

As a self-taught artist, she is painting since her childhood intuitively. "First comes the vision and then the Creator creates my work. I don't take no credits", she says. 

Her works were shown in exhibitions in Germany and are in private collections in Germany, Italy, France, Romania and Africa.
