Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

"Une chambre à soi" est une œuvre en fusain sur papier Canson, format A3, de la jeune Virginia Woolf plongée dans ses pensées, réalisée dans un style ancien d'après une ancienne photo sépia d'elle.
Elle fait parti de ma série des portraits en fusain des célébrités et sera exposée à Parallax art fair dans le town hall du quartier Kensington à Londres du 21 à 23 octobre. L’œuvre est vendue avec un beau cadre noir et sera envoyée dans un carton avec un certificat d’authenticité.

Ayant grandi près de l’endroit que Munch a peint dans son « cri » plus précisément à « Utsikten » à Oslo en Norvège, entourée des couleurs sombres et mélancoliques de ce nord, baignée dans l’art et la littérature classique avec la reproduction de la Madone de Munch me contemplant du mur de ma maison d’enfance, je suis fortement imprégnée de l’univers Munchien. L’intensité de l’expression, des couleurs et des contrastes me touchent aussi beaucoup chez Van Gogh ou Modigliani ainsi que la douceur des teintes impressionnistes. Mon approche artistique: Je travaille le plus souvent avec du pastel et du fusain à partir d'une photo ou d'un tableau et le style de mon portrait s’impose à moi à partir de l’énergie que celui-ci me communique. J’aime cette libre expression et cette communication instinctive entre le motif et l’artiste et de produire une atmosphère et faire vivre mes motifs.

L'Art-graphe à Paris pendant 6 ans et depuis 4 ans je me
perfectionne en dessinant tous le jours dans mon atelier à
Bures sur Yvette, dans la région Parisienne ou je vis.
