Founded in 2021 through the close collaboration between talented photojournalist Rodrigo Reyes Marín and creative graphic designer Nahomi Moriyama, R&N Photography embodies a remarkable fusion of artistic skills and visions. Through their annual project entitled "Les Catrinas de Japón", the duo transports us to a captivating and singular visual world.

The exhibitions orchestrated by R&N Photography reflect a diversity of approaches and perspectives, combining the technical expertise of Rodrigo Reyes Marín with the artistic sensibility of Nahomi Moriyama. Highlights include the virtual exhibitions at the Embajada de México in Japan, as well as the physical galleries that have been curated to highlight their innovative works.

Rodrigo Reyes Marín, with his experience as a photojournalist, made his mark on the media scenes in Mexico and Canada before moving to Tokyo in 2008. His international career has flourished through his collaboration with various renowned photographic agencies, including AFLO and ZUMA Press. Her insightful eye and ability to capture the decisive moment are reflected in every shot, unveiling stories that transcend cultural boundaries.

On the other hand, Nahomi Moriyama brings to R&N Photography a refined aesthetic and an unequaled mastery of graphic processing. A graduate in graphic design from the University of Hokkaido in Japan, she perfected herself in the subtle art of photo editing, a key element of their artistic project. His Japanese heritage and his international background give his work a unique dimension, where precision and aesthetics come together harmoniously.

Nahomi Moriyama also brings a vital artistic aspect to the project, being a teacher of Ikebana, the Japanese floral art, and having explored the painting and makeup of catrinas for years. It is this combination of varied experiences that allowed R&N Photography to create the innovative project "Les Catrinas de Japón", a series of captivating photographs where the Mexican tradition of catrinas meets Japanese aesthetics, producing a unique blend of colors , textures and symbolism.
