Como definir estilo Surrealismo ?

O surrealismo é um movimento literário e artístico que surgiu na França em 1924, escrito por André Breton. Pode ser traduzido como "acima do realismo" ou "mais que real". É um ditado do pensamento, onde a razão e as preocupações estéticas ou morais devem ser apagadas. Para Breton, o surrealismo se justifica por um desejo de emancipação: ao libertar o inconsciente para reconciliá-lo com o consciente, a humanidade será capaz de se libertar das restrições impostas pela lógica e pela razão. Os artistas e escritores serão, portanto, inspirados no movimento Dada, bem como nas teses de Sigmund Freud e nas obras dos Simbolistas, em particular as de Gustave Moreau e Odilon Redon. Na literatura, essa abordagem se manifestará em experimentos curiosos, como a escrita automática ou o cadáver primoroso. Na arte, diferentes correntes se destacarão: falamos de surrealismo orgânico (Joan Miro, André Masson, Max Ernst), para quem usa técnicas automáticas para libertar a imaginação criativa, ou surrealismo onírico (Salvador Dali, René Magritte) para quem usar técnicas tradicionais para representar temas surrealistas (visões, sonhos, cenas alucinatórias, impulsos, medos, fobias, desejos ...). O surrealismo tem um rosto: o de Dali e seus bigodes, mas também tem obras emblemáticas em diversos meios, como as esculturas de Alberto Giacometti (Mulher com a garganta cortada, mãos segurando o vazio ...), ou as fotografias do homem Ray (Preto e Branco, Violin d'Ingres, O Presente ...). A artista suíça Meret Oppenheim, por sua vez, compôs com esses diferentes meios (esculturas, fotografias, ready-mades) para transcrever com poesia a extensão dessa corrente. Os temas e símbolos recorrentes do surrealismo são: encontros inesperados, justaposições incongruentes, máscaras desumanizantes (africanas, gasosas ou industriais), o louva-a-deus (que personifica o medo das mulheres), bem como trocadilhos (especialmente entre o título da obra e sua composição ) e outros trocadilhos visuais, como o famoso “Isto não é um cachimbo” do belga René Magritte.
