Robert Van Den Herik é um artista contemporâneo holandês. Inspirando-se no realismo mágico e no surrealismo, particularmente nas obras de Carel Willink e Salvador Dali, ele embarcou em sua jornada artística. Após sua educação na Design Academy Eindhoven, ele inicialmente seguiu uma carreira como designer de produtos para diferentes empresas. Foi nessa época que ele lançou seu próprio produto inovador chamado banho de bebê Shantala, revolucionando a forma como os bebês são banhados.
À medida que sua exploração artística se aprofundava, ele mergulhou no reino da "Arte versus Design". Ele começou a criar luminárias, móveis e decorações de jardim, tudo meticulosamente feito à mão.
