Solo una grande barriera rocciosa riesce a fermarla e poi lentamente l’acqua si ritira salvando la laguna.
Così nella nostra vita spesso ci sentiamo travolti da avvenimenti che ci appaiono disastrosi e ci sentiamo sommergere, poi , per fortuna, avviene qualcosa che ci aiuta ad essere più forti e come una barriera ci aiuta ad aggrapparci e a salvarci con la nostra forza di volontà

L'Episcopo Giuseppa chiamata da tutti PINA, nata nel 1953 in Sicilia, emigrata all'età di 5 anni a Genova dove vive tuttora.
Ha frequentato il Liceo Artistico (è stata allieva del grande Raimondo Sirotti) e si è iscritta ad Architettura. La sua passione è sempre stato l'insegnamento ed ha iniziato presto a realizzare il suo sogno, lavorando sia presso la scuola media che quella secondaria ovviamente prima da precaria, poi si è indirizzata esclusivamente all'insegnamento di Disegno e Storia dell'Arte che è sempre stata la sua passione
Ha lavorato molti anni presso il più prestigioso Liceo Scientifico di Genova, il “Liceo G. D. Cassini” dove ha instaurato un meraviglioso rapporto con i suoi alunni.
Dopo avere realizzato opere figurative, anche se non in senso stretto della parola, non più giovanissima, ho iniziato a sperimentare pittura con la sabbia su tela o cartoncino.
Ha partecipato a varie mostre, sia virtuali che in presenza, avendo riconoscimenti da vari critici tra cui il Professor. Sgarb,i dal Professor Plinio Perilli e il Professor Gianfranco Bartalotta dell’Università Roma
Ha realizzato opere di scultura in crete, preferibilmente ritratti di familiari e maschere in cartapesta
In oltre ha pubblicato un libro intitolato:” COSA C’è DENTRO LA GIOCONDA”
per spiegare perché, pur non essendo il ritratto più bello del mondo ci affascina tanto e ci inquieta.
Per me essere un'artista significa andare avanti e trovare nuove strade per comunicare emozioni
