America is a beautiful country. For those lucky enough to travel her roads and by ways, you know what I mean. And, if you know, you know. For those who have never been here or those who haven't traveled the backroads, here are some places I've found to share with you. It’s a stunning and beautiful place so much so that America is truly a living work of art.

This collection is comprised of an award winning collection of Great Egrets, photographed in 2015. Twenty of the images appeared in the Book Winged Soul, available on Amazon, but the entire collection of 50 images have never been presented in full. It will be added to this series until the entire collection has been made available. These images are all each titled after a ballet movement as these birds, when in flight, are stunning, graceful and magnificent. They are Nature's Ballet.

Biography
This is art for the tastemakers: the interior designers who sculpt sanctuaries, the collectors who seek soul in their walls. My work draws from a tradition of elegance—think the poised restraint of early pictorialism, kissed by modern clarity. Here, every piece is destined to elevate spaces and spark conversation or create a haven of loveliness. My art is for people like me—those who laugh at life’s messes and still crave beauty that lasts.
I hope my art inspires people to put more real Art in their homes rather than cheap decor from from Amazon, Walmart, or Temu. I hope it inspires more people to collect and invest in Fine Art. I hope they begin to start art collections for their grand children and giving Fine Art as wedding gifts, graduation gifts, and other meaningful milestones.
Because, as she says, "I find the stories of art collectors are intrinsically part of the pieces they collect. It is the artists that tell all our stories. That makes art into a creatively forged kinship between artist and collector. So, in all my work, I hope people see my work as a mirror of their own fineness and value. It's really yours. I made it for you."

In a world where photographic mastery is quietly revered, Nancy McGregor has once again scaled that difficult pinnacle. This week, (April 2025) Communication Arts Magazine, the venerable 66-year-old international authority of creative distinction, announced its 2024 Excellence in Photography Award winners. Communication Arts is a professional competition for designers, art directors, design firms, corporate design departments, agencies, and related professions. To win an Award for Excellence in any of these categories is somewhat equivalent to winning an Academy Award.

The nine jurors worked in three virtual screening teams of three, each viewing one third of the entries.Each juror viewed the entries independently and voted by checking an “in” or “out” on our online judging portal. A majority of three “in” votes were required to advance an entry into the finals round.For the final voting round, all nine jurors voted on every finalist. A minimum of fivevotes were required to place a finalist into the annual.
Each entry was chosen for chosen on the basis of creative excellence and quality of execution. This year, there were 1,906 entries from across the globe, with 116 winners. Among them, McGregor stands apart, securing a win in 2013, 2015, and 2024. This is a feat achieved by approximately 4 women in the competition’s entire 66 year history.
McGregor’s work—elegant, evocative, and timeless—whispers of a brilliance that transcends the ordinary. Her journey, a tapestry of vision and persistence, invites deeper exploration. From the delicate interplay of light and shadow to the profound narratives woven into each frame, McGregor’s art beckons those who seek beauty with meaning.
