Biography
Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending. Dynan also creates 3D, Reverse Perspective, viewer-interactive wall sculptures made from Birch and oil or acrylics.

I have been following Phil's work for a number of years. I find it totally unique and full of variety. Frequently it is colourful, creative, amusing, joyous, compassionate and personal, bringing in some of his experiences overseas.
He also ventures into topics that are thought provoking, relevant and nuanced, usually with his colourful flare.
His reverse perspective work is outrageously beautiful and fascinating with details that can keep one engaged for hours.
I find him an amazingly creative artist - someone with much to say and definitely worth following.
