I have been a professional illustrator for many years, working mainly in books, magazines and daily newspapers. I have also designed greetings cards and logos for various companies.I also spent five years working for a computer games company, where I animated characters in 3D and provided artwork and character design for several games. I have also taught art, especially Illustration, at many colleges in the UK. Eventually my wife and I moved to France, not far from Angouleme, where I now have a studio, and the light here is fantastic for painting. I now spend my time making images mainly for my own pleasure, though I have accepted a few commissions for paintings which I have enjoyed. As one can see from my work, it involves many different styles and techniques, from etching and water colour though to oil paint and computer graphics. I am certainly a Jack of all trades, buy hopefully I have reached a level of competence in most of them!
