The Cornwall coast, in southern England, was one of the locations I chose to experiment with making Platinum prints. This was sometime ago and I have recently scanned the images and produced reproductions of them as C -type prints. I was never satisfied that I fully mastered the Platinum technique but it was an interesting experience.
This Limited Edition artwork is based on an original photograph I captured using film in a large format plate camera. The photograph was used as my raw material which, through several stages of careful adjustment, gradually evolved into an enhanced version of the original image. This picture is produced as a high quality C-type print on archival semi-gloss satin paper. The print size* includes a white border (0.5 to 1 inch depending on print size) to allow for framing. The artwork will be signed and numbered on the front and supplied with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity.
For maximum longevity C-type prints should be framed and displayed behind glass.
C-type prints are made to order and can take up to five working days to produce. *This photograph can be printed in a different size. It can also be printed on canvas. To discuss the options please message me.
