Peter Nottrott is a contemporary German artist. He has established an international exposure over the course of his career, which spans more than three decades. He creates dynamic, high-energy abstract paintings, placing a high value on freedom and uniqueness in both creative and life. Nottrott's use of vibrant colors and expressive brush strokes produces a sense of brightness, dynamism, and optimism.
Peter Nottrott was born in 1962 in Flensburg, Germany, and started working as a full time artist after graduating from the private art school Atelier YAK, in Hamburg. Over time he developed a real passion for abstract art, and this is now the main focus of his work.
Nottrott was one of the best-selling artists online for many years and his paintings can be found from private collections to the boardrooms of multinational companies.

I would like to expressly thank my previous studio community for 9 years of community, I always loved coming to my beautiful old building studio and we often drank coffee together and talked. Now it's time for a change of scenery - we've signed a new rental contract! It's almost time - my studio move is imminent and I'm even staying in downtown Flensburg. As an artist trio, we have found a very charming building in a courtyard on Angelburger Strasse and from September we will be designing the next chapter in the almost 250-year history of this house. The goldsmith Dominique Lenoir will work on the ground floor, Kira Köntges will be creative under the roof and I'm really looking forward to painting my pictures behind the middle four windows. In the next news I'll probably be able to present the result of the move...I'm really excited.

Da leiste ich sehr gerne einen Beitrag mit meinem abstrakten Bild "Positive Energy", das dort momentan bis zum 11. März ersteigert werden kann. Das Ziel der Charity-Autkion ist es, Opfern von Gewalt, Armut, Katastrophen, unheilbarer Krankheit und Kriegen wenigstens eine kleine Auszeit zu ermöglichen, z. B. in Form eines kostenfreien Urlaubs. Viele Prominente wie Barack Obama, Angela Merkel, Günther Jauch, Kevin Costner, Karl Lagerfeld, Dirk Nowitzki oder Die Fantastischen Vier sind oder waren ebenfalls helfend aktiv.
Im Juni war es soweit: Es war die richtige Zeit, den bereits lange gehegten Gedanken in die Tat umzusetzen: ich möchte einige Bilder mit Ölfarben malen - ich habe mir (lösungsmittelfreie) Ölfarben gekauft und Bild für Bild wieder begonnen, mit Ölfarben neue Erfahrungen zu sammeln.
Nun ist es Ende September - die ersten Bilder sind durchgetrocknet, und zum Winter werde ich sie online präsentieren!
