My wife and I live on an acreage outside Perry, Iowa where we raise various plants and animals. We are both emerging artists.
I am driven by a desire to « Conceptualize « new ways of creating art through the use of many different mediums and extensive imagination. I have worked for the last several years on this effort and am starting to produce works that show my development.
My background as a museum curator and American Studies M. A. have given me the training to develop these works. I regularly exhibit works by midwestern and regionalist artists as part of my job and continually gain an appreciation for all of their many individual styles. My wife and I have some of our works in a local gallery called the Mary Rose where we both sell some of our pieces. We look forward to sharing our art journey with many more art enthusiasts and collectors.
