Pascal Dumont is a painter and photographer. The abstract is a choice that imposed itself on him. The main reason is that there is no limit. There are no rules, we can do what we want.
On the other hand, he is interested in landscapes...but always with a touch of the abstract!
His approach highlights emotion and instinct. His creation lies in spontaneity. He does not necessarily have a message to convey through his works. Because he thinks that the unconscious is transcribed in his paintings... Everyone sees the reflection of themselves in a work of art. He often paints in series for more consistency. Each series allows him to change his style so as not to be locked into a routine and so that the excitement of making a new work is always present.
Pascal Dumont is also a comic book scriptwriter and I have published 3 comics which are published by YIL, and available in all bookstores. He was born in 1982 and he lives and works in Epagny (France).
