Paul Alba views life as a challenging expedition into the unknown within himself, comprised of dark and invisible worlds, distant and unexplored lives, and parallel realities.
Paul began expressing himself through photography very early in life, but chose not to pursue a career as a photographer. He became a professional pilot, always carrying a camera whenever possible.
When his years as a pilot ended, he had more time for art, and Paul's attention shifted again to photography.
His artistic work is characterized by his humanist thinking and pays homage to the complexity of the human condition.
With this approach to his subjects, Paul Alba leaves space for his subject, the viewer and himself in each of his photos.
Paul Alba photographs both digitally and on film, using both mediums to express his artistic vision and capture the multiple facets of the reality he explores.
