La série mots croisés en quelques mots :
Nous sommes plongés dés notre naissance au milieu d’un flot de paroles qui plus-tard deviendront des mots lorsque nous en comprendrons le sens et en deviendrons nous même les auteurs.
Le flot ininterrompu auquel nous sommes soumis depuis notre plus jeune age de toutes ces informations et allégations nous à instruit, construit, et contribue en partie au patchwork de notre identité et de notre moi le plus intime.
Dans cette série de portraits et/ou paysage (qui sont réalisés selon la technique de segment painting que j’ai mis au point voir # ci-dessous), les mots (coupures de journaux et mots transférés) se croisent et forment un labyrinthe dans lequel on peut se perdre, ou en chercher le sens.
A l’inverse des mots croisés traditionnel ou la définition permet la recherche d’un mot, ici les mots si ce n’est les demi phrases sont connues et le jeux consiste dans l’assemblage de ces phrases pour y trouver un sens. Cela permet de multiples interprétations selon la sensibilité propre à chacun dans le choix de tel ou tel assemblage pour en former un texte.
# segment painting : technique de peinture qui consiste à réaliser des papiers peint au préalable, qui seront recoupés en segments et qui seront réassemblés pour former le portrait ou le paysage en utilisant les couleurs et textures de ces papiers peint selon leurs emplacements pour accentuer certains contrastes ou donner un mouvement le cas échéant.

Living in the South of France since 1995.I have always been drawn to art since I was child without really finding my way in. Twists and turns in my life, challenges after challenges, going from one job to another then ultimately finding myself in front of a blank canvas. Many years have passed since (15 years working in arts and crafts), they were not lost but instead have been part of a long learning process which has allowed me to appreciate the plastic arts, the world, and to find a way to express myself. My perception of my surroundings while refining the most appropriate techniques to express myself.
With the rising of new media, we might perceive images as taking over words, however we tens to underestimate their impact and to forget that words are linking images together with our feelings.
I wanted to freeze frame as if swimming against the overwhelming flow of information which we don’t have time to process anymore.
An image becomes a real jigsaw puzzle which must be deciphered to understand its true meaning.
My artwork is inspired from historical or day to day events or societal isssues.
