Pascal A.Pelletier (1971- ) Metis/Cree
live in Lake Erroch b.c
artist , carver , painter (mainly acrylic and mix-media), muralist , Pascal is a multi-disciplinary artist.
born in the province of Quebec , he always has had an affinity for art. he studied
in different field s , from horticulture to ornamental welding and psychology,after
living in many different part of the country, he decided to set up in b.c
(Vancouver island) to dedicate himself full time
to his art and learn about his culture. perfecting his carving and design, in the
northwest coast tradition , studying and learning from the artist that paved the way for him and
his contemporary , always working in parallel to his paintings, Pascal always alternate from one another
"as one help the other". Pascal started to exhibit is work as a need to tell story, starting as a theme and
a dream . Pascal's paintings and carvings are always creating stories around the pieces. when he moved to Mission
B.C Pascal became more involved with the Mission Art Council .Pascal has had many shows, solo and group.his work can be find in many private collection and public buildings.
his influences are very large , from mexican muralist Diego Rivera , to Bill Reid and Robert Davidson, and
Jane Ash Poitras to George Littlechild ,and so many more... Pascal is a art lover .
having completed many private commission artwork, he sold work in many countries, from the U.S to U.K to Japan
and many provinces and cities in Canada.Pascal also start teaching carving and traditional northwest coast design and portrait for beginner and intermediary in 2004 , and doing workshop with groups and schools.

- invited as the feature artist and storyteller on aboriginal day to do a presentation , for the city of White Rock B.C.

-unveiling and raising of the 20' hose post.at the chamber of commerce and information centre of Mission BC
- solo exhibition at the place des arts in Port Coquitlam , " vanishing buffalo" was a inspire and telling the story
of the vanishing of the buffalos and the effect on the first peoples.
-work with Hatzic elementary schools for the past 2 years as artist in residence.
2009
- selected as a representent of Mission as a artist , to be art of the Oyama delegation , and will be going to Oyama , Japan .
- selected to be part of a documentary parallel to the mural/mosaic project with 4 other artist , including Robert Bateman .
- selected to be part with the finest artist /painter in Canada , to participate and paint on a mural that is despicting the west cost . i will be unveiled on Galiano isl. b.c in jan. 2010.
- Pascal has done hundreds of paintings and carvings ,and completed many commission work both private and public, and always try to do his best to push himself to devellope his own style always in respect of the traditional design and it's meaning.
