Realizó sus estudios de pintura y dibujo bajo la dirección de Enrique Ruiz Rojo. Cursó la Carrera de Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, donde tomó clases de pintura con el maestro Gustavo Aranguren.
Estudió acuarela con el maestro Emilio Galindo, óleo con el maestro Humberto Delgado.
