Itzhak Perlman is one of the greatest and famous violinists of the second half of the twentieth century. In addition to classical music, Perlman has also played jazz and klezmer music. His instrument is a Stradivarius that formerly belonged to Yehudi Menuhin. Perlman is famous for playing the great violin concertos, but he also played a lot of chamber music. When I think of chamber music, my first thoughts go to Antonín Dvořák, because he was the finest! (Of course this is a very personal opinion.) As an example I mention Dvorak's Sonatina which Perlman played with Samuel Sanders on piano. Perlman knows how to let the violin “sing”.

Almost all my paintings are inspired by books or music, they are a tribute to a certain author, composer or artist and his/her work. Of course I would be happy if a painting encourages someone to read the book or listen to the music. 

All works are ready to hang. The ecoline paintings are framed with a frame of your choice: light oak or black aluminum. The paintings have a passe-partout and a plate of glass on the front. Oil paintings have a wire on the back so they can be hung.
