Why a Turnip?
We all get very tired in our age of frantic rhythms and spam. One day, in such a moment, I listened to myself, feeling empty and hearing nothing. It was as if a turnip had been placed on my head. I hid in my little house, escaping from reality. And for a moment, it felt so good!
Do you remember like it was in the cartoon about Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore, the tail goes into the pot and comes out? That's how my head goes into the turnip and comes out, and the outside noise appears and disappears just like that.

A naive and surreal scene in which an artist with an onion head creates a portrait of himself. He is surrounded by works of other characters - fruits, vegetables and berries with human bodies - each telling its own little story. This work is full of humor, gentle irony and warm lyricism. It reveals the theme of self-identity, reflection and the role of creativity as a way to understand yourself. The painting seems to invite the viewer into a world where the everyday turns into a fairy tale, and each character is a reflection of our own roles and masks.
