Russian Hide and Seek • 5 произведений
Посмотреть все"Russian Hide-and-Seek" is a series of paintings in which people hide behind the images of vegetables, fruits, and berries, much like a game of hide and seek, avoiding making decisions and taking responsibility for their aspirations. It is a metaphor for how we sometimes retreat into hiding, concealing ourselves behind familiar images to avoid confronting reality and the necessity to act. In this world, full of noise and the fast pace of life, a person often finds a secluded place in metaphorical "fruit-like" images instead of moving forward.
Fruits, as symbols of our desires and dreams, do not always reveal themselves immediately; they often remain in the shadows, much like those hidden in the Russian folk game. This serves as a reminder of how easy it can be to hide in illusion and avoid taking steps toward our goals. However, despite this, it is important to remember: "When the thought has ripened, go and act." In moments of fatigue from the noise of information and constant haste, it is essential to find the strength to continue, because this is the only way to bring your dreams to reality.

I was a participant of ART Russia 2025. A very exciting event!
Painting in the museum
Yaroslavl
In 2024, my work was featured for the first time in an exhibition at the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve. It was an unforgettable moment to see my painting, created during an open-air session on June 1, among the works of talented artists. In my painting, I depicted one of the towers of the Yaroslavl Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery. This exhibition is an important step in my creative journey, and I am grateful to the museum for the opportunity to share my vision with the public.
Words that warm the soul
Today I received such a heartfelt review from Anna! Thank you so much! I am very, very pleased that the Elephant was liked. I hope it will bring joy to Anna and her loved ones and friends for a long time!
