Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Deep red abstraction II is a painting made with a spatula and oil. Very textured, it gives way to the color red. Nicole uses the technique of gestural and tachism. This takes on all its importance. Nicole ignores shapes and lines. Here the artist puts in perspective the spots which are superimposed and overlapped in a free and unconstrained way. This very high quality painting offers light and depth. This work fits very well into a contemporary decor. The artist was inspired by the work of Jean-Paul Riopelle, great painter of Quebec in the realization of this painting.
