Happily presenting the "Tree Medical Center" sketch.
To start, I would like to discuss a subject.
It is about the ceiling floor of a building, where it plays a big role and affects the human brain.
From my experience, I was living in a studio where the ceiling was the roof, and it was a gable roof (toiture à deux versants) with important height. I noticed that my brain was open to creation and innovation.
My second apartment was in an English courtyard (cour anglaise), with a low ceiling. I noticed I was attracted to math and calculus.
Spirituality involves big domes and arches in many churches, mosques, and temples to ascend the prayers.
Further, in this design of a medical center, I used natural shapes resembling a bonsai tree. It is related to ecology, the natural science of living organisms, and the physical environment.
Architecturally speaking, it will give a feeling of belonging to this structure, to nature and the living creature, and to a sense of wellbeing for the patients.
Construction-wise, I think 3D printing concrete will make it highly possible to follow the shape and curves of the building.
