Live, but emotional, two contradictory or complementary feelings — it's up to you — that characterize me and also describe my paintings. Painting is beyond words, it opens the door to all dreams and feeds the imagination. She tells a story and this time, it's with words that I tell you mine...

The brush ballet

< p>I was born an artist, but my skill with brushes didn't show up right away. I had a visceral need to express myself through gestures, but it was my steps that preceded my hands. Dancing was my first passion. Moving in a space using one's gestures, ultimately two arts that come together. At the age of 15, I had to give up this dream of a classical dancer.

Freeing myself from graphics to paint freelyI passed the entrance exam to the National School of Applied Arts Duperre in Paris.

During my studies, one of my teachers and friend, Gérald Garand, himself a painter, passed on his passion for painting to me. I had great admiration for his talent and his charisma.

1989: graphic designer diploma in hand, I immediately worked in this profession in an advertising agency.

But my rebellious, independent and creative temperament ruled out any fulfillment during this professional experience.

Trained at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués (Duperré), she has been painting and teaching her art for 21 years in the Chamonix valley.

C' was obvious, I had to paint.

The beginning of an adventure… in Chamonix

The call of nature was stronger than anything. What better inspiration than the Chamonix Valley where I decided to settle in 1998?

The need to go to other horizons allowed me to orient myself towards a career which suited me more: teaching painting.

I created a painting school, here in Chamonix, where I gave lessons, in order to pass on my passion. The adventure lasted 20 years. The academy had 80 students.

These painting lessons allowed me to let the idea of living from my sensitivity mature. Transmitting and initiating pleased me, but my creativity boiling deep within me, I understood that living from my creations became essential. My decision was made, I was going to become a full-time painter.

Abstract and lyrical, that's how I would describe my painting. You understood, my paintings are the witness of my feelings and my personal emotions.

To lay your eyes on my paintings, it is to dive into my state of mind of the moment. But each observer will interpret what he sees differently, depending on his personal history and sensitivity. Appropriating the universe of a canvas is unique to everyone.
