a série femmes est constitué des différentes facettes de femme qui mélange la nature amérindienne culturel avec ce qu'elles sont devenues aujourd'hui dans la société actuelle un mélange de traditions avec des pigments donnés par ces femmes artistes, en amazonie, et ces photos de magazine qui pour certaines et l'objectif a atteindre pour devenir une femme actuelle, le dilemne entre tradition et société, c'est ce mélange dont je donne un aperçu par un petit point de vue qui en fait cache toute la complexité de ces populations qui oscille entre 2 société opposé mais dont elles s'en sortent en prenant le meilleur de chacune!

the women's series is made up of the different facets of a woman who mixes the Amerindian cultural nature with what they have become today in today's society a mixture of traditions with pigments given by these female artists, in amazonia, and these photos of magazine that for some and the goal to achieve to become a current woman, the dilemma between tradition and society, it is this mixture of which I give a glimpse by a small point of view which hides all the complexity of these populations who oscillates between 2 opposite society but they get away with taking the best of each!

About this artwork: Classification, Techniques & Styles

Oil

Paint consisting of pigments bound with linseed oil or carnations. The traditional technique consists of superimposing layers of paint increasingly rich in oil for a solid and durable hanger.

Chalk

Drawing made with chalk, a white marine rock that is traditionally white in colour and can sometimes be coloured.

Ink

A strongly tinted liquid or paste that is used to mark paper or other printable materials. The design is done manually with a slab, feather, brush, or straightener.

Charcoal

Drawing made with a branch of Willow or charcoal of charred Europe. It enables to obtain very deep blacks, precise traces, thin or on the contrary very broad, depending on the way it is used.

Gouache

The substances are diluted with water and rendered pasty and opaque by the addition of gum and honey. The colors become opaque and can, therefore, be superimposed, which makes one paint with gouache as with oil. The gouache is recommended by its bright, fresh and delicate tones.

Marker

Drawing made using a large felt with its own ink source. The ink may or may not be indelible.

Pigments

Paint made with colored powder suspended in a liquid binder to obtain some paint or ink.

Tempera

Paint based on an emulsion, greasy or lean with a pigment. Traditionally it is a painting using egg yolk, a natural emulsion, or whole egg as a medium to bind pigments.

Wood

Sculpture technique using wood, natural material of plant origin.

Cardboard

Sculpture technique using a light and rigid material with a relatively high thickness and/or weight.

Paper

Sculpture technique using a light and flexible material forming a thin sheet.

Collages

Collage is an artistic creation technique that consists of making a plastic creation by combining elements of various kinds: more or less flat materials, such as printed oilcloth, painting or drawing, newspaper extracts with text and photos, paper paintings, documents, various objects of low relief, etc. When the creation incorporates elements in relief, one can also speak of assemblage. This also includes glued papers, which employ a variety of papers, including newspaper, and drawing techniques.

Fabric

Technique consisting in creating a work based on fabrics and which can be decorated by adding color or material.

Technic Textile Art

Textile arts refer to the forms of art and crafts that use industrial or animal fabrics, or man-made or natural fibers to construct practical or decorative and artistic objects. Textile arts include manufacturing methods such as weaving for fabric, or spinning for wool, cotton, or man-made fibers; techniques for transforming these materials, such as sewing for fabrics (with more artistic forms such as patchwork or quilting), knitting, crochet, braiding or knotting for threads.
