A few years ago, I decided to immerse myself in the art of embroidery to cope with a stressful time in my life. I came across an image of a beautiful Spanish woman dancing. Radiant, free, full of light and harmony...
This is how the first embroidered picture came up. At that time, I could not imagine that the beauty of embroidery transcended painting would soon fill my life with the same harmony, brilliance, and motivation.
My creativity was not conceived as a business. I continued to embroider, enjoying the process of creating new art. At first, my friends joked that I should sell pictures, but I didn't take it seriously.
But one day, my son brought a friend from work to visit, and when he saw one of the paintings... he wanted to buy it as a gift for his wife. I gave him the painting for a symbolic price and didn't think anything of it. But after a while, his friend contacted me and asked if I could embroider another painting for him. And I thought again: why not?
Now I have a small blog, I receive orders for embroidered pictures, and continue to create arts, which become gifts, decoration in my house or are sold online.
My biggest passion is cultural authenticity. Specifically, Spanish culture, with its charming traditional dances such as flamenco and salsa.
