I'm an artist who:

- often paints his wife because she is an easy-to-get model and looks beautiful
- works from home, alternating painting with changing diapers

Biography:
Born in Kyiv, Ukraine. Got a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Book Design from the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI". Then, have been working for about 18 years in the publishing house as a book designer. During my last years in the publishing business, started to paint as a side job, got excited, and transferred to Art as my full-time job. In March 2022, moved from Kyiv to Lisbon with my wife and three kids.

International Annual Theme Award (I.A.T.A.) is one of Asia’s top art contests organized by Taiwan International Contemporary Artist Association. Combining I.A.T.A. with Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.), the most important platform of art exchange in Taiwan, Organizer will display artworks created by the most distinguished artist all over the world in order to promote individual artists to Asian market.
A few months ago, I've started experimenting with Midjourney, an AI platform that generates images based on text prompts. Days and days of experiments resulted in a series of exciting cat images that I decided to use as the basis for my oil paintings.

My painting "Beloved" is represented at the Charity Exhibition "Artists for Ukraine" in Lisbon. All collected funds will be directed to Ukraine via the United24 initiative.

Following Russia's war in Ukraine, I had to leave Ukraine together with my family. Now, my wife, I, and our three boys aged 2, 5, and 6 live in Lisbon.
Obviously, this was unplanned immigration with just a few bags, but Portugal welcomed us very well, and we are happy to stay here before we feel it's safe to get back. We are adapting to a new place, learning Portuguese, researching the taxation system, choosing schools and daycare, and so on, and so on.
My paintings were left in Kyiv, and I have friends who will help me to ship them all over the world, in case you want to buy any of them.
All my new paintings will be shipped from Lisbon, Portugal. I am also open to commissions.
