Artistic approach

I idée in Acrylicpainting because it alone gives me the speed of

execution I need. I let my subconscious express itself within a

figurative structure, most often springing from an abstract

background.

My paintings must be done quickly because the writing must be as

spontaneous as possible. I do not sketch and draw the outline of my

portraits, of women almost exclusively, with a brush.

I always start with the eyes because I need to capture the soul of my

subject which will accompany me throughout the construction of the

canvas.

These women wonder and question, slightly feverish, worried, revealing

their doubts and wounds but also their strength.

I work a lot on presence. It is essential for me.
