Plus que dans tout autre forme d'expression, il me semble que la peinture abstraite requiert l'altérité; c'est un peu une création à deux, à plusieurs! Une œuvre n'existe vraiment qu'à travers le regard de l'autre, de celui qui s'y trouve confronté en fait; Seule dans son coin elle attend, un peu comme morte, puis elle prend vie au moment même où elle interpelle celui qui s'arrête et regarde, touche sa sensibilité, met ses sens en éveil: calme révolte, apaisement ou rêveries surgissent faisant écho à un parcours à des émotions enfouies l'œuvre, alors, trouve sa raison d'être, et moi, celle de peindre! Après un cheminement de plus de 20 ans à travers l'Amérique du Sud, les Antilles, des séjours à Copenhagen, Londres et New-York, je vis et travaille à Clichy et sur l'île de Bréhat.
