After becoming a Fine Art Painting graduate, I knew I would have to do something completely different and unique, and also of a good quality in artistic sense. Nowadays, when everything is invented, when it is difficult to be distinguished and different, I did my best to build my own style different from others, so that the painting that I do arise emotions, draw attention and make people wish that piece of work for themselves. My previous paintings, done with classical techniques, acrylic or oil on canvas, were remarkable, but painting with wine brought me my big wish for recognition and uniqueness. The beauty and the unusual technique of painting with wine have attracted me most. The difference between me and other artist, painting with wine, is that I choose only wines from the region I live ( Serbia and surrounding countries) and those of autochthonous grape varieties.   

Women are wonderful, special beings whose beauty have inspired many artist from the earliest age. With wine,  displays of women look extraordinary, women and wine complement each other, interwine,  and create the paintings of unusual beauty. I paint different types of women: romantic ladies in luxurious dresses, seductive women in provocative lingerie, or even those women completely naked pretty aware of their beauty. 

BIOGRAPHY

Mira Kovacevic was born on June the 13th, 1981 in Zemun,Serbia. She has finished the School of Art Crafts in Sabac. She graduated art of painting on Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor Dusan Otasevic.

She has participated in many collective exhibitions and art colonies in Serbia and surroundings. So far she has had thirteen solo shows in Serbia and surrounding countries.
