My pictures are mostly created intuitively, every color choice is influenced consciously and unconsciously, leaves room for chance, but is also the result of a careful work process.
That's why I named the pictures after the day, month and year.
I use 39 different colors in different forms for my pictures. The colors zinc white, primary yellow, vermilion green
Chromium oxide green, cadmium orange, vermilion red, madder lacquer, sky blue, turquoise, light ocher are a small selection.
The oil paintings can be experienced very well in a combination in the living room, dining room but also very well in an office or practice.

Dietmar Meinhardt is a German visual artist who lives and works in Leipzig, Germany. He has been a photographer for 20 years and has been combining photography with digital painting since 2018. In addition to general photography, he is particularly interested in abstract modern art.
Curious about everything, his passions are in art, colors, shapes and architecture. His fields of work are conventional oil painting, his digital work processes are diverse, digital painting, street, portrait and manipulated photography. He likes to work on minimalist, colorful and surrealistic works. Colors and straight shapes are a fascination for the art that he creates in the conventional as well as in the digital realm.
In the field of photography, Dietmar Meinhardt mainly works in street, people (portraits), infrared and duplex photography (double exposure). In the field of photography, too, his preferences lie in form, color and architecture.
Dietmar Meinhardt are involved in small associations to support people in their area of life. He organizes exhibitions for and with artists that are accessible to everyone.
