Catherine Mauvisseau Bordin is a contemporary French painter and sculptor. Her sculptures are inspired by animals or women, while in her paintings, Catherine Mauvisseau Bordin addresses classical and traditional themes but she always leads her audience to reflection.
She was learning direct carving stone sculpture with Jean-Marie Meslin. Attended the modeling workshop of Nadie Feuz, with Danièle Dekeyser, Michel Pigeon, Marie-Thérèse Tsalapatanis; as well as the workshops of sculptors Etienne and Martine Salavize. Besides that she was part of the art workshop of painters Jocelyne Barbas and Georges Joussaume.
Catherine Mauvisseau Bordin was born in 1967, in France. Exhibits since 2012 at the Galerie François Giraudeau – Les Portes en Ré. Works and currently exhibits at the Galerie Variation, Paris.
