The artworks shown, representing abstract and figurative expressionism in oil, acrylic or mixed painting technique introduce Martha Elisa Bojórquez, from Sinaloa, a northern State of Mexico, as a contemporary artist of consolidated creative skill. This becomes evident by her pleasure in playful experimentation submitted though to a clear orientation to defining form and colour. The combination of both elements leads to an outstanding balance in her oeuvre as a whole as well as in the examples shown in this gallery. Since 1994 the Artist has been presenting her work in close to 20 personal exhibits and taken part in numerous group exhibts, mainly in Mexico but since 2000 also internationally, e. g. Venezuela, San Francisco, Miami/USA, Canada, Dominican Republic, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
