Marius Cruceriu born in Iasi (Romania) in 1986, currently lives and works in Paderno del Grappa (Treviso).
Cruceriu approaches the world of art, initially dedicated to photography to arrive today to a personal painting style that is developed through a creative characteristics abstract-informal. Cruceriu in his works denies any existing form, allows for geometric shapes, stripes of color that invade the surface tracing a path. A painting that defines the sense of freedom of the artist, expressed in the form of dynamic action where thought becomes the starting point of all his works.
His first experiences are born from a strong suction that allows him to experience the many painting techniques; his early works are made of wooden boards demonstrate a capacity of painting that today proves to be an interesting artistic work.
The artist shapes the material, fashion model with her hands materials and different elements, such as wood, sands of distant islands, volcanic sands that evoke warmth and lightness are juxtaposed to the metal capable of reflecting light, but also smoothed plaster, machined and painted that create states of relief.
Cruceriu in his work describes the world in his mind, analyzes values and beliefs, describes the abstract concepts and emotions, explore new worlds, planets and satellites, new forms of life. A painting incisive and material becomes a metaphor of his personality, the spots of color on the canvas etched play key role in that they become carriers of meanings and direct communication with the individual.
