Trovo molto interessanti e ricchi di significato i fiori quando non sono più freschi e belli. Di solito li compro e poi aspetto che il tempo faccia il suo corso: i fiori recisi diventano così emblematici della vita che trascorre e che ci cambia. Ai miei occhi sono molto più affascinanti, prendendo forme e colori più dinamici e inaspettati. La tecnica che utilizzo è il pastello ad olio su carta che mi permette di unire il disegno alla pittura; è un lavoro realizzato dal vero e ciò mi permette di arrivare a quella sintesi visiva che cerco.
