Marco Bonechi was born in Florence on May 31, 1944 and has lived with his wife Franca for over 40 years in Figline Valdarno - Florence.
We find his first works in small oil paintings dating back to 1968 that portray the poetry of quietly decayed farmhouses and castles in the heart of the Tuscan countryside where he decides to build his idealized home according to his artistic thought of that moment.
Subsequently, together with his wife, they began a path of experimentation on engraving and drypoint. With these two techniques, the artist proposes to the Italian and foreign graphics market, works that portray the views of the city and its ideal landscapes, enjoying considerable success.
Starting from the 1980s, Marco dedicates himself to many artistic expressions that start from painting that brings ideal landscapes, classic ruins, fantastic cities and labyrinths to the canvas or on tables, then moving on to graphics, terracotta sculptures, bronze castings. and in silver.
For the artist, however, all this is not enough; Marco is constantly looking for something new, a technique he has never tried, a landscape never seen before, a fantastic and mystical architecture, a perfect example of what can be called "Researcher of Art".
