Marcel Garbi currently lives and works in the United Kingdom. Since 2014, Marcel Garbi has dedicated himself to a unique exploration of ink and watercolor on Japanese paper. He prefers to let the elements unfold without prior sketching, allowing the art to reveal itself spontaneously. This approach is inspired by oriental calligraphy, where the brushstroke plays a crucial role in artistic expression. For Garbi, art is a minor field with a capital letter, a profound reflection on how works can elevate simplicity into something meaningful and precious.
